Christina Coleman recently traveled to Washington, D.C. and visited Congressional offices as part of a delegation from the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) to make the case for a much-needed overhaul of the nation’s immigration system and to share examples of how immigrants make a positive contribution to our country.
At the National Day of Action on immigration policy on April 6, Christina advocated on Capitol Hill for necessary changes to reform America’s outdated immigration system and prevent policies that would hurt our nation. She was proud to take part in this unique opportunity to stand united with colleagues, clients, coalition partners, and other AILA members, and to ask Congress to advance real solutions that improve our immigration system for the benefit of our economy, communities and all Americans.
Christina was particularly fortunate to meet with Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, and share examples of real immigrants contributing to our community.
