Meet Our Team
Christina Coleman
Founding Partner
Christina develops and executes immigration strategies for a wide range of corporate clients in a variety of industries, including U.S. companies seeking to hire foreign workers and multinational companies transferring foreign employees and executives to the U.S. In addition, Christina helps individuals achieve their immigration goals including obtaining work visas, green cards, and citizenship. Previously, she practiced as a litigator at Sidley Austin. Christina earned her J.D. at Loyola University of Chicago Law School, where she graduated summa cum laude. In addition, she holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Medieval Studies from Yale University, a Master of Arts Degree in English Literature from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and English Literature from Dalhousie University. She has significant experience working with students, and was an Adjunct Faculty member at the DePaul College of Law. Originally from Canada, Christina came to the U.S. in F-1 student status and naturalized in 2006.
Francesca Whitlock
Immigration Assistant
Francesca (Frankie) brings 20+ years of law firm experience to Coleman Immigration, previously working in a variety of immigration and administrative roles at a large Chicago law firm. She received her degree in Stage Management from West Texas A&M University and loves puzzling through the intricate details of immigration matters.
Kyrsten Hoffman D’Amico
Law Clerk
Kyrsten Hoffman D’Amico graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2021 and has experience working in immigration matters with entities across Illinois. Before law school, she graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Kyrsten was born and raised in Chicago, having lived most of her life in the Portage Park neighborhood. Kyrsten speaks both Spanish and English, and was inspired to go into the immigration field by her experiences with her own family’s journey from Ecuador to the United States.
Tess Hershenson
Paralegal
Tess is a Chicagoland native who graduated from DePaul University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Technology. Inspired by working and studying alongside the diverse communities of Chicago, they began their journey at a large immigration law firm in 2022 and received their Paralegal Certification in 2023. Tess is excited to continue their immigration career with Coleman Immigration.
Madeline Pagnillo
Legal Assistant
Madeline is an Arizona native who graduated Arizona State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Justice Studies and Global Health and Certificate in Human Rights. She moved to Chicago in early 2023 to further pursue her passion for immigration, and she is excited to continue with her career here at Coleman Immigration.
