Meet Our Team

Christina Coleman

Founding Partner

Christina develops and executes immigration strategies for a wide range of corporate clients in a variety of industries, including U.S. companies seeking to hire foreign workers and multinational companies transferring foreign employees and executives to the U.S. In addition, Christina helps individuals achieve their immigration goals including obtaining work visas, green cards, and citizenship. Previously, she practiced as a litigator at Sidley Austin. Christina earned her J.D. at Loyola University of Chicago Law School, where she graduated summa cum laude. In addition, she holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Medieval Studies from Yale University, a Master of Arts Degree in English Literature from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French and English Literature from Dalhousie University. She has significant experience working with students, and was an Adjunct Faculty member at the DePaul College of Law. Originally from Canada, Christina came to the U.S. in F-1 student status and naturalized in 2006.

Francesca Whitlock

Immigration Assistant

Francesca (Frankie) brings 20+ years of law firm experience to Coleman Immigration, previously working in a variety of immigration and administrative roles at a large Chicago law firm. She received her degree in Stage Management from West Texas A&M University and loves puzzling through the intricate details of immigration matters.

Tess Hershenson

Paralegal

Tess, inspired by growing up, studying, and working alongside the diverse communities of Chicago, hopes to help individuals, families, and foreign workers reach their immigration goals in the U.S. They received their degree in Communication and Technology from DePaul University in 2021 and their Paralegal Certification in 2023. Tess enjoys getting to know and understand each client’s unique needs and providing support from the beginning to end of their immigration journeys.

Madeline Pagnillo

Paralegal

Madeline is an Arizona native who graduated from Arizona State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Justice Studies and Global Health, and Certificate in Human Rights. Growing up in a border state, she has always been passionate about immigration, which led her to begin her immigration career in 2022. She is dedicated to helping our clients achieve their immigration goals.

Legal Assistant

Kellyn has a background in legal compliance, research, and administrative support, with experience working across a variety of fields. She earned her degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Loyola University Chicago and is eager to support clients throughout the entire immigration process.
